Himeji Yukata Festival opening children parade colorfully

The “Himeji Yukata Festival” (sponsored by the same festival promotion conference), which colors Harima Road in early summer, began around Shironan Park in Shiomachi, Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture on the 22nd.
In the lights of the street stalls, a cool yukata figure emerged.

 Nagabe Shrine's traditional event in the city town. It is said that the mid-Edo period Himeji feudal lord Masakaki Sakakibara allowed ordinary people to worship in yukata.

 In the evening, the “Kids Yukata Parade” departs and begins. The course was changed due to anticipated rain, but elementary school students who were dressed in colorful yukata paraded around the shopping district and the shrine and enjoyed the evening of the summer solstice.

 A girl (6) from Himeji Shirasagi Elementary and Junior High School, who participated in a yukata with a cherry blossom pattern, said, "I'm happy to be in elementary school and be on a parade. I'll enjoy eating a cotton candy with my friends later." .

 The festival lasts until the 23rd, from 4.30pm to 9.30pm.
