 I am an illustrator and picture book writer. Influenced by the humor and sorrow of popular Japanese paintings such as Ukiyo-e, Otsu-e, and the billboard, I am working hard to draw them with a modern sense. In charge of illustrations for E-Tele “Shakin!” And commercial illustrations for “Kumquat Nittottoko Oyaji”, as well as the Japan Children's Literary Association Prize, and many other award-winning “Konpiragu” (written by Kyoko Imai). Picture books include the "Okame Train" series, "Kokeshi no Yume" (written by Chunky Matsumoto), and "Tosan no Tejina" (written by Shoichi Nejime).
